The crash occurred at around 12:50 pm when the Ferrari left the road and collided with trees. Firefighters arrived quickly and managed to release Antonio by 1:45 pm.
According to The Guardian, Essex Fire Service confirmed, "Crews were called to High Road, Epping, at 1.02 pm this afternoon after reports of a road traffic collision involving one car. On arrival, firefighters reported that a man was trapped in his car and worked to release him by 1:45 pm. The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service."
Antonio was airlifted to a central London hospital after the rescue. Fans have been anxiously waiting for updates on his condition.
